For 2019-2020 Season
Pembina Ringette Association is looking to fill the following roles for the 2019-2020 season.
- Referee Allocator
- Ice Allocator
- Special Events and Fundraising Coordinator
- Bingo (Casino) and Gaming Coordinator
- 2 Directors at Large
These roles are appointed by the Executive Board and all roles have a mentor available for assistance and guidance.
The required duties of each role are listed below.

- Referee Allocator
- Be aware of, and schedule officials for, all home games for all teams within the association;
- Coordinate training, upgrading, and evaluation of referees;
- Maintain contact with the Ice Allocator for changes in scheduling and referee needs;
- Communicate payroll information to the Treasurer on a bi-monthly basis;
- Provide referee information to Registrar;
- Ice Allocator
- Arrange and schedule all ice on which games and/or practices are played;
- Report Association ice availability to the Black Gold League and/or Ringette Alberta as required;
- Assist with the development of practice schedules;
- Book dressing rooms, floods, and nets for all home games and practices;
- Manage schedule changes due to tournaments, bad weather, etc.;
- Special Events and Fundraising Coordinator
- Organize fundraising opportunities;
- Ensure that there are adequate volunteers for fundraising events;
- Organize events to promote PRA and the sport of Ringette in the community;
- Organize Come Try Ringette events;
- Make arrangements for team photos;
- Bingo and Gaming Coordinator
- Organize bingos and casinos;
- Ensure that there are adequate volunteers for bingos and other events;
- Organize and execute raffle(s) in accordance with AGLC guidelines;
- Director At Large
- Attends all Executive Board Meetings
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Executive Board
