Oilers 50/50
We are THRILLED to advise you that Pembina Ringette Association has been selected to participate in this year’s Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation’s 50/50 program! We have been scheduled for The Edmonton Oilers regular season game: Tuesday, December 18th vs. St. Louis Blues.
To give you a general idea of what is required of us, here is some info:
- We need to provide 60 volunteers (this is important as we need to have the place covered with enough sellers and enough people behind the scenes to help out)
- We will receive a minimum of $6000 (BUT....we want EAGER sellers that will fill that 50/50 pot up, so our earnings are higher!!!)
- We have a 'travel subsidy' that will cover the cost of a bus, to get us to and from Rogers Place (so you don't have to search for and pay for parking)
- NO ONE is allowed to watch the game - we are there to sell tickets and make money
- We will be required to LEAVE Westlock at approx 2:30-3pm on game day, as we will NEED to be at Rogers by 4:30pm
Again...we want EAGER sellers that will fill that 50/50 pot up, so our earnings are higher!!!
So... Round up those friends, family members, neighbours, co-workers, etc (must be over the age of 18) that are eager to help out!
NOTE: The Oilers Foundation received 130 applications this season, and we were part of the ONLY 45 chosen!!! This is exciting and we KNOW that our little Association has the ability to make it successful!! You are ALL the reason this Association is amazing!!
Special Incentives:
**The team who provides the most volunteers will earn a special pizza and yoga party! And...
**the volunteers with the highest sales and whomever sells the winning ticket, will earn a special prize!
